I have been known to throw Amy’s LP single of Like a Virgin on my record player, and singing Material Girl at karaoke outside Comiskey while pregnant with George was a most excellent memory. And there was a time when Papa Don’t Preach rang a little too true, if you catch my drift, wink wink. I just think she lacks real singing talent. Lady Gaga can SING. Listen to “Speechless.” Holy smokes, that’s a good song. Madonna never could have pulled that off.
